CMA Part 2 Generalist Debt Advice Training

The CMA Part 2 Training Course is aimed at those who have already attended the Part 1 Training Course, and is designed to increase knowledge and understanding of the whole debt advice process. This will allow delegates in regulated contexts to begin to offer debt advice to clients.

Training manuals will be provided for each delegate in both pdf and hardcopy format.

This course includes a post course assessment based on learning from Part 1 and Part 2.

Prerequisites

Completed CMA Part 1 Debt Advice Training

Completed the Client Interview & Fact Finding Activity before attending

This course is the first of 3 training courses that make up the Money and Pensions Service accredited CMA Award in Generalist Debt Advice. This course is suitable for those with no previous experience of debt advice.

More Information

The CMA Part 3 Training Course is aimed at those already giving debt advice and/or those who have been working with clients for at least three months, as the topics covered are designed to build on experience. For debt advisers working within CMA centres, the Part 3 Training Day must be completed within 18 months of Part 1 Training and/or giving debt advice in a CMA centre.
